According to Khosroabadi, Iran's cultural attaché in Bangladesh, 50 Quran memorizers and 40 Qaris registered for the qualifying contest and five in each category made it to the final round.
He told IQNA that the final stage will be held tomorrow at the Iranian Cultural Center in Dhaka.
Prominent Bangladeshi Quran reciter Ahmed bin Yusuf, who came 2nd in the Islamic Republic of Iran's International Quran Competition four years ago, will serve as a referee, Khosroabadi said.
He added that the Qari and Quran memorizer who come first in tomorrow's contest will represent Bangladesh in the 5th International Quran Competition for Muslim Students.
The international Quranic event is slated to be held on December 31, 2014-January 6, 2015 by the Iranian Academics' Quranic Activities Organization.
