According to the TV network’s public relations office, the contests will be broadcast live both the in the morning and evening.
It will also broadcast the opening ceremony on Thursday, April 19, and the closing ceremony on Wednesday, April 25.
Moreover, the Quran TV will have special programs attended by Quran experts and scholars featuring the international Quranic event.
Some 370 foreign guests, including contestants, members of panels of judges, and others, have arrived in Iran for five international Quran competitions, including those for men, women, the Visually-impaired and seminary students.
Tehran’s Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) will play host to the Quran contests.
