According to Safa Silawi, an official with the Astan, 70 Quranic media persons from different provinces of the Arab country are attending the courses.
He said they are from 26 Quranic institutes, dar-alquran.org website reported.
The Dar-ol-Quran center of the Astan is holding the courses, he noted.
They began on Sunday and will run for three days, Silawi said.
Accordig to the official, the courses feature news writing, journalism and photography among other subjects.
They are aimed at improving the proficiency of those working for Iraqi Quranic media outlets.
