According to factjo.com website, the copies were gifted to the hearing-impaired individuals attending the ceremony.
It was held by the Quran Preservation Society of Jordan.
Sheikh Satam Muayatah, head of the society, said it was a duty to help those who have difficulty reading the Book of God for any reason.
That is why a number of Qurans in sign language were obtained from a Kuwaiti charity organization to be distributed among the hearing-impaired, he said.
