Iranian Qari Recites Quran in Moscow (+Video)

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Prominent Iranian Qari Hamed Valizadeh is in Russia for Quran recitation on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan

He attended a Quranic program at the Grand Mosque of Moscow on Friday and recited verses from the Holy Quran.

Islam in Russia is the country’s second most widely professed religion. According to a nationwide survey conducted in 2012, Muslims in Russia numbered around 10 million or 7 percent of the total population.
