The opening ceremony will start at 6 p.m. and continue at 8 p.m. local time.
Mahmoud Wa’edhi, head of the section, will deliver a speech in the ceremony to introduce the section’s activities and programs.
Quranic magazines in Urdu, Arabic, English and Turkish will be unveiled in the program.
Iraq, Malaysia, Oman, Yemen, Afghanistan and Tunisia are among the countries attending the international section of the Quran exhibition and Pakistan is the honorary guest of this edition of the Quranic event.
The international Quranic event will run until May 24.
It is annually organized by Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.
