Islamic Center of England to Mark Imam Sadeq's (AS) Martyrdom Anniversary

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Islamic Center of England plans to hold special programs on June 16 and 17 to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja’far Sadeq (AS).

 

The programs, which include speeches in Arabic and Persian, will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. local time.

Iraqi cleric Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Sadruddin Qubanchi will deliver the speech in Arabic and Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hadi Mufattih, head of the Islamic Center Hamburg and Ali Sa’eedian will deliver the Persian speech at the program.

Programs in Urdu and English will be held by the center on June 17.

Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ihtisham Zeyd and Seyyed Ali Mortaza Zeydi will present speeches in Urdu.

English speeches will be delivered by Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Hashim Mousawi, head of the Islamic Center of England and representative of the Islamic Revolution’s Leader in the country, Nabil Awan and Seyyed Mohammad Al-Mousa.

The programs will also include elegies on the occasion to be performed by Seyyed Ja'far Al-Mousawi, Hassan Alirezayi and Ali Razavi.

Imam Ja'far Sadeq (AS), the sixth successor to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), is known as the founder of the Jaafari School of jurisprudence and master of Islamic law. He is buried in the holy city of Medina, today’s Saudi Arabia.
