Qasabi added that when he was a university student, his professor would advise them to recite the Quran as it would help one learn how to properly pronounce Arabic words and gain eloquence.
Some have opposed the tweet, describing it as an insult to the sanctity of the Quran.
Others, however, praised Qasabi, saying if a non-Muslim actor made such a comment, everyone would be commending him.
Qasabi began his acting career in 1984 and is mostly known for his various roles in the series No Big Deal in 2012. Nasser became one of the three judges on the television series, Arabs Got Talent.
The Quran is widely recognized as a miraculous book, for the unique style, eloquence and presentation of the Arabic language.
Masters of Arabic have failed to find any flaw or lapse in the language of the Quran.
