Over 5 Million Visit Prophet’s Mosque in A Week

MEDINA (IQNA) – More than five million worshippers and Umrah pilgrims visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina last week.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and Prophet's Mosque put the total number of visitors to the mosque in Medina in the last week of October at 5.623 million.

The General Presidency said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that more than 82,000 bottles of Zamzam water and 124,000 meals were distributed among the visitors in that time.  

The worshippers and pilgrims also received services such as translation, according to the post.

More than 10,000 pilgrims visited the libraries at the Prophet’s Mosque, the General Presidency added.

It went on to say that during the last week of October, 17,000 elderly people benefited from the special places designated at the mosque for the elderly.
