Imam Dies During Prayer in Indonesia Mosque
IQNA – A surveillance camera in an Indonesian mosque recorded the moment an imam died while leading the morning prayer on January 2, 2024.
The video showed imam Subhu kneeling down with the worshippers at Al-Ula Jami Masjid, but he did not get up again. He collapsed on the floor and was pronounced dead.
The muezzin, who was standing behind the imam, noticed his condition and took over the prayer. He guided the worshippers to finish the prayer and then called for help.
