Khatm Quran means reciting the Quran from the beginning to the end.

The worshippers performed the Isha and Taraweeh prayers and attended the completion of the Quran recitation on Sunday, the 29th night of Ramadan, at the Grand Mosque.

The 29th of Ramadan is the last of the odd-numbered nights on which some believe the Night of Qadr falls.

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, head of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, led the prayers at the Grand Mosque.

He prayed God to forgive all Muslims and prayed for the victory of the people of Palestine.
